At-A-Glance

Almen is a self-initiated concept for a Milan studio that designs interiors and builds the furniture for them in its own workshop. I set myself a brief to design a landing page that sells both sides of the business without splitting it in two.

My Role

Web Designer

Problem

A studio that does interior design and makes furniture risks looking like two businesses on one site: a portfolio here, a shop there. The page needed to show that one team takes a room from first sketch to final fitting, and give visitors a route in whether they want a whole room or a single chair.

Approach

A confident editorial layout led by an oversized wordmark, a tight grid and a restrained palette, with serif italics adding warmth to a sharp grotesk. Services, pieces from the workshop and finished rooms each get their own section, a four-step process explains how a project runs, and 'Book a consultation' is the primary action from header to footer.

Outcome

A complete single-page concept covering the studio's services, a priced furniture collection, a list of finished projects, the process, a client testimonial and a closing call to start a conversation.

Screens
